Selection Criteria for KarnaGoshthi Application

KarnaGoshthi Scholarship committee is responsible for accepting application as well as making decision about scholarship.

Some of the factors which are considered by Scholarship committee is

      Education level of students

      Need of student (decided by Scholarship Commiteee)

      Family income

      Whether candidate is female

      Whether family has a working parent

      Whether family has a guardian

      Merit of Student

      Whether candidate is in school or college

      Whether candidate is doing technical studies

      Aim of student

      Recommeding member's comment (just comment and not the member)

     1. Following are the positive points and extra weight will be given for each of these in scholarship selection. These can increase chances of receiving scholarship, renewal of scholarship and can also affect scholarship amount.

     1. Candidates who excel in their academic field

     2. Candidate who perform better in extracurricular activities

     3. Candidates who keep Scholarship committee informed about their progress on a regular basis

     4. Candidate who increase awareness of KarnaGoshthi and help in some of its activities

     5. Candidate who helps fellow villagers or someone in community

     6. Candidate who fill paper application with all the required documents

     7. Candidate who take extra effort in making himself/herself computer savvy
